Pollen on Jackson Lake, Grand Teton Park, WY

Thanks for all the guesses on our first “WHAT IS IT?” Some funny ones there! Several sort of close. But Holly Gaves got it exactly right. It is pollen on Jackson Lake, taken on June 29, 2009. See the photo showing the shoreline. The other three photos were taken last summer, July 2, 2008 and show pollen on both Jackson and Jenny Lake. The Jenny Lake tour boat has just sliced through the floating pollen.
